"THE EVENT SPACE IS BEAUTIFUL AND SET THE PERFECT STAGE FOR MY ELEGANT VINTAGE THEMED WEDDING. THE STAFF WAS GREAT AND VERY FLEXIBLE!
The buildings of the Levering Mill Tribute House have graced the Lower Merion community for over 90 years. The classic brick facades evoke an elegant timelessness. As they did when they were built, the buildings continue to serve this Main Line community and its guests. A tastefully furnished foyer welcomes guests for cocktail hour and adjoins the Ballroom accommodating 150. The Ballroom was built as the club house for the Woman’s Club of Bala Cynwyd in the 1920's. The hardwood floors in this light-filled room make for a versatile space for all occasions with a stage large enough for any party entertainment. Adjoining porch, back deck and lawn provide outdoor options.
The Library was the Township’s first and can accommodate smaller parties and gatherings. The book collection and fireplace accented with original Moravian tiles provide interest and history and need little, if any, decorative embellishment. The Library was dedicated to the veterans of World War I in 1927. These two fine buildings pay fitting tribute to the history of this Lower Merion community and to the women who dedicated their time and efforts to its betterment.
